Miami County
Community Foundation

At the heart of every vibrant community lies a spirit of generosity, a commitment to growth, and a shared vision for the future. The Miami County Community Foundation (MICOCF) embodies these ideals, serving as a catalyst for positive change in greater Miami County, Kansas.

Since our inception in 2007, we have been dedicated to enriching lives through targeted philanthropy, fostering a culture of giving that transcends generations.

Our Mission

At MICOCF, our mission is clear: to enhance the quality of life, cultural vibrancy, and educational opportunities across Miami County.

We believe that by encouraging charitable giving, we can create a more prosperous and thriving community for everyone.

Our foundation acts as a bridge between passionate donors and impactful causes, ensuring that every dollar donated makes a lasting difference.

Why We
Exist

The Miami County Community Foundation was established with a bold vision—to make Miami County not just a place to live, but a community where everyone can thrive.

We recognized that the key to this transformation lies in strategic philanthropy, where resources are pooled to address the most pressing needs and opportunities within our county.

Our work is driven by the belief that through collaboration and generosity, we can uplift the entire community.

Making an Impact
Together

At MICOCF, we manage a diverse portfolio of Donor Advised Funds and Scholarship Funds, each uniquely tailored to the passions and priorities of our donors. These funds are the lifeblood of our foundation, allowing us to support a wide array of projects and initiatives that reflect the needs and aspirations of Miami County residents.

The DO Smith Scholarship has helped me tremendously. Aiding me to purse my dreams and making my desired career as a nurse obtainable! I’m forever thankful.
