| “I had been told that high school students rarely get this scholarship,” Regan recalled, “but I was determined to apply anyway.” To her surprise and delight, Regan became the first high school recipient of the D.O. Smith Scholarship, a moment she described as a “great accomplishment.”Thanks to MICOCF, Regan no longer has to worry about the financial burden of her studies. “The scholarship has truly changed my life,” she said. Now focused on her nursing program at Pittsburgh State University, Regan is determined to make the most of this opportunity.“I’m forever grateful to MICOCF and the generous donors. You’re allowing me to make my dreams come true.” |
